Copy Supervisor

We founded one of the first new media agencies in 1992, one of the first dot com practices in 1994 and one of the first social media agencies in 2005. While many marketers simply bolt social channels onto traditional campaigns, we understand that social is more than just channels. It’s a set of behaviors - habits and routines - based on the innate need to share and socialize. The Copy Supervisor at Attention helps to develop brand voice and creative strategy for web, mobile, and social campaign executions. The Copy Supervisor holds a leadership-level creative position that involves overall responsibility for the creative work produced by assigned copywriters. Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in a marketing-agency setting with the majority spent in a digital agency.  

Responsibilities:

General Duties

  • Write copy and develop engaging creative assets and campaigns
  • Participate and/or lead creative team concepting sessions
  • Present work in internal agency and client meetings when needed
  • Demonstrate active involvement in new business and client presentations including presenting concepts
Team Management
  • Partner with Creative Director to lead employees in a clear and compelling manner to set the tone for performance and employee growth
  • Manage teams to deliver on client campaigns
  • Manage teams to deliver departmental growth goals
  • Build leaders and sponsor their growth opportunities

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a copywriter in a marketing-agency setting with the majority spent in a digital agency.

The Human Resources (“HR”) Manager works alongside the HR Director and team at kbs+ to maintain responsibility for the HR function as it relates to all employees. He/She must be open and available to discuss human resources matters with the entire workforce. The HR Manager reports directly to the CEO & President. 
 
General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Manage all benefit distributions.
  • Creating and conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews for all employees.
  • Prepare semi-monthly payroll for Finance to process.
  • Maintain all personnel files, I-9 records, and other personnel records, and ensure company is in compliance with all laws and regulations and demonstrates “best practices” in regard to personnel information management.
  • Develop and implement human resources programs and policies including but not limited to the creation and modifications of Attention’s Look Book and Handbook.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to create and coordinate staff activities and events.
  • Serve as a resource for all team members by being available and accessible to discuss all human resources related issues.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting process.
  • Oversee handling of employment-related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings.
  • Develop, implement and participate in employee recognition programs.
  • Organize and work independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and complete assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management, expressing ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrate skills critical for managerial success including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and highly developed personal, analytical and communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President, CEO or other senior management.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environment

The Business Development Associate helps the business development process. He/she will work under general supervision from the Chief Marketing Officer. Specific tasks include project managing the new business process and pipeline report, creating and revising presentation decks and managing the agency’s social channels.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Job Duties

  • Develop proposal and pitch materials, including case studies, initial POV on prospective clients’ business, strategic presentations, and all written components of a proposal.
  • Project manage pitch process, including assessing initial opportunities, collaborating with key internal stakeholders on pitch deliverables, interfacing with prospective clients, and creating written RFP responses.
  • Understand client business goals and strategic imperatives and help the pitch team develop strategic deliverables including written and creative assignments that represent the client’s needs.
  • Prioritize a variety of projects on an ongoing basis based on business needs.
  • Manage the agency’s owned and earned channels, by leveraging internal and external resources
