A Social Media Director at Attention is a client portfolio leader who drives profitable revenue through client relationships while consistently building deep and meaningful client relationships. To do so successfully, candidates will need to have strong industry Points of View through the extensive experience within the social & digital industry as leaders. Leads should have 8+ years of experience in a marketing agency setting with the majority spent in a social agency. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio Management

  • Develop and manage client business plans against brands in portfolio of business
  • Identify and execute against vertical, horizontal, additional department, service, geographic and other growth levers
  • Maintain close relationships with senior client contacts and manage opportunities of organic growth
  • Counsel clients based on digital landscape and business goals – be a partner NOT a vendor
  • Insulate client from competitors by staying “in the loop” on planning, events and outside projects with client
  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction and value beyond the work stated in contracts and SOW’s
  • Oversee all strategic planning and tactical execution
  • Introduce new capabilities and technologies to clients, initiate new business process and display strong presentation skills during client pitches
  • Participate in internal weekly client business meetings to review, plan and execute against real time changes/opportunities in portfolio
Financial Management
  • Manage client budgets and work closely with Attention’s Project Management team to ensure efficient use of resources and healthy margin
  • Drive achievement of revenue and growth goals of portfolio
  • Prepare month-end overviews of current client activities, monthly revenue forecasts and plans for future development of accounts
  • Manage overall budget of staff to ensure staff costs to revenue ratios are in line with targets
  • Build a case for investment and transition where necessary
  • Maximize revenue by effectively managing against contracted documents and working with clients to make financial adjustments when appropriate
Team Management
  • Lead operational and financial performance of account teams to ensure quality work and effective processes
  • Lead multiple bands (management tier structure) of employees in a clear and compelling manner to set the tone for performance and employee growth

  • Manage teams to deliver departmental growth goals

To qualify for this role at Attention, an individual needs to possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Eight or more years of experience in an agency setting with the majority spent in social/digital. Data and mobile are additionally valued with familiarity in research, strategy and execution

The role of planning is no longer confined to the beginning of assignments; it is part of the creative exercise throughout the life of a client informed by bolder and smarter insights from the entire social graph.
 
The Role: SVP, Social Strategy.
  
The ideal candidate is the smartest person in the room about how consumers express themselves through social media. Candidate is responsible for building, managing and growing a strategic planning practice within Attention and the social planning practive at kbs+. This is a hands-on leadership role for the internal team and a trusted storyteller to some of the industry’s most resepected clients.
  
He/she possesses an understanding of the fundamentals of strategic planning, and the creativity to apply these fundamentals in new ways to solve a range of challenges from content strategy to audience intent. This candidate has 8-12 years of leadership experience and consulting experience, preferably in an agency environment. This position requires strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as impeccable communication/presentation skills.
 
Candidate works hand-in-hand on a day-to-day basis with our Creative Director, Director of Analytics and Account Director (s) to conceive and execute client plans. As a bonus, candidate understands how social connects to search and email/text to form the backbone of purchase decisions.
Reporting into the position is a four-person analytics team responsible generating data-driven insights.

Department Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the selection and usage of research platforms including social media monitoring, key word analysis, survey and ethnography

The Human Resources (“HR”) Manager works alongside the HR Director and team at kbs+ to maintain responsibility for the HR function as it relates to all employees. He/She must be open and available to discuss human resources matters with the entire workforce. The HR Manager reports directly to the CEO & President. 
 
General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Manage all benefit distributions.
  • Creating and conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews for all employees.
  • Prepare semi-monthly payroll for Finance to process.
  • Maintain all personnel files, I-9 records, and other personnel records, and ensure company is in compliance with all laws and regulations and demonstrates “best practices” in regard to personnel information management.
  • Develop and implement human resources programs and policies including but not limited to the creation and modifications of Attention’s Look Book and Handbook.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to create and coordinate staff activities and events.
  • Serve as a resource for all team members by being available and accessible to discuss all human resources related issues.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting process.
  • Oversee handling of employment-related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings.
  • Develop, implement and participate in employee recognition programs.
  • Organize and work independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and complete assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management, expressing ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
